Final Fantasy I and II for iPhone get release dates
Posted on February 23, 2010 | No CommentsSince we’ve spent two posts covering Street Fighter IV, a game that will presumably be terrible to play on the iPhone, I thought it was only fair to give a bit more love to a game that should be awesome on the iPhone. Actually, two games: Final Fantasy I and II. We knew they were coming [...] -

Watch the PSP Go unassembled and reassemble itself
Posted on January 23, 2010 | No Comments
Ready to burn two minutes of your day? I sure hope so, friend, because after the jump is what very well could be the most exciting deconstruction video ever posted to our fine Internet. Here's hoping that this will become the standard format for the obligatory gadget teardown. I don't think I'm the only one tired of looking at a stale pic of a random device's guts. "Yup, there's a circuit board in there." Anyway, click through to watch the the PSP Go in a stop motion video.

Analyst: Expect Xbox 360, PS3 price cuts this year
Posted on January 12, 2010 | No CommentsYeah, you probably could have guessed that one already, but now someone from Wedbush Morgan has said it, validating your opinion in the process. Oh look, POP247 video game, Blu-ray vending machines trickle into the UK
Posted on December 16, 2009 | No CommentsWould you buy a video game out of a vending machine? I certainly would, if only to avoid the phony human contact thrust upon me at GameStop. So these POP247 whiz-bangs are great. Too bad I've never seen one here.

Like all Brando junk, this thing makes no sense yet makes perfect sense. It's a battery that you wear like a wristband. The site has this to say:

USB Wrist Band Battery won’t let these situations happen anymore! You can charge your devices in a flash before battery exhausts!

Xbox 360: Not big in Japan
Posted on December 8, 2009 | No CommentsWould it be foolish to begin this story with the words “poor Microsoft”? I mean, the company isn't exactly hurting for money, and yet it looks like 2009 was the year that the Xbox 360 finally died in Japan. Not that the Xbox 360 ever really did well in Japan, but this year it looks like everything fell off a cliff.
