Nokia E73 ‘Mode’ coming to T-Mobile next month?
Posted on May 19, 2010 | No CommentsThis is totally out of the blue, but we were just hit up with a screen shot suggesting that T-Mobile USA will be launching a portrait QWERTY handset from Nokia on June 16 known as the E73 'Mode.' As is evidenced with the Nuron, T-Mobile has a tendency to assign trademarkable names to Nokias in its lineup that are known elsewhere in the world by their model number only, so we imagine that this phone will end up launching globally simply as the E73 as it takes over the E72's throne as Espoo's top productivity beast. More on this as we get it!

Video: LG Ally mid-range QWERTY reviewed
Posted on May 18, 2010 | No Comments
So, you've been with us from the beginning, back when Ally first popped her head out into the wild, then during her adventures with Iron Man, and finally, with her full spec sheet leak.
You two have grown so close over the last month, that it seems that all you now need to achieve completeness is a video review.
Oh, hullo, looky here!

LG Ally Shown in Iron Man 2 Themed Commercial
Posted on May 1, 2010 | No Comments
After her quick appearance yesterday, everybody's favourite Korean vanilla Android QWERTY handset, the LG Ally, has made her public début in an Iron Man 2 themed commercial.
There's explosions. Boom! There's weapons! Bam! There's some hot Iron Man action! (that came out wrong...)
Check it out, after the break. You'll love it.

BlackBerry Clamshell Spied Wearing OS 6.0
Posted on April 21, 2010 | No Comments
Following hot on the sexy heels of the BlackBerry OS 6.0 leak, comes word of some interesting BlackBerry firsts. The first first (so to speak) is that BlackBerry 6.0 has now been spotted running on a device. The second first (*ahem*) is that said device is also the (almost) first clamshell blackberry device!
It shall be known, affectionately, as the 9670.

More Shots of Microsoft’s Project Pink “Turtle” and “Pure” leak out; hitting Verizon on April 20th?
Posted on March 5, 2010 | No Comments
We're still trying our darnedest to not feed the hype machine surrounding Project Pink, considering that all signs are indicating that neither phone is anything to get worked up about.
With that said, a couple of new shots of the Turtle (the stout, portrait sliding QWERTY handset) and the Pure (the horizontal QWERTY handset pictured above) have just leaked out, along with some information about its impending launch on Verizon. Check it all out after the jump.

The TiVo Premier is finally official
Posted on March 2, 2010 | No CommentsFinally. We finally have new TiVo models. The TiVo HD XL launched a long year and half ago and the UI is even older. But that’s behind us now, the TiVo Premier is here and it’s (nearly) everything we need in a DVR. Everything is different: the hardware, the interface, even the remote. (QWERTY!) With the [...]

I know I'm not alone in my lust for decent phones with QWERTY keypads.
While I've been thoroughly enjoying the company of my touch-screen-only HTC Hero for 7 months now, I must admit that I am looking at other (more well endowed) phones while Hero's back is turned.
But you know what? She's ok with that. I guess that's why we work so well together... even though I dream of the days where I could type without looking at the keyboard.
...and along comes Ally...
I hadn't realized it until just this second, but it's been way, way too long since we've seen a monstrous carrier leak. I suppose after the heavily-detailed data dumps from the likes of AT&T and T-Mobile in 2009, the carriers have been tightening their grip. Fortunately, that hasn't kept what looks to be the majority of Cricket's 2010 product line up from leaking out.
A Japanese company called
