There could quite possibly be a BlackBerry pad coming soon
Posted on May 3, 2010 | No Comments
What a treat! Based on rumor and innuendo, the Internet is all a tizzy about BlackBerry most probably potentially building a tablet.
BBLeaks feels that the "BlackPad" or the "Cobalt" will be smaller than the iPad and run the BlackBerry OS or, at the very least, be compatible with BlackBerry OS.

Posted on March 4, 2010 | No Comments
The WSJ just posted a blind item about a killer phone Sony has in the works that is capable of downloading and playing Playstation games. It will probably just be a PSP Go with a phone inside. Shown here is an artist's rendition of what it will look like. But wait! There's more!

Verizon Wireless and Skype slated for a duet at MWC
Posted on February 12, 2010 | No CommentsI'll admit that I love me some Skype. I get to call and video chat with all my buddies from overseas without hefty fees, except I was accustomed to doing it only where Wi-Fi was available. While AT&T and Apple have made some recent policy changes to allow VoIP over 3G, it looks like Verizon and Skype are partnering up do to a little of the same.

The Mobile Mobile is a magnificent and melodious module of merriment
Posted on December 24, 2009 | No CommentsFaced with an agency-wide phone upgrade that left fifty older HTC devices homeless, UK-based Lost Boys International decided to act on instinct in the most natural of ways: by turning each device into a cog in a musical mobile that hangs just inside the entrance of its Brick Lane studio. Even better, all those phones are connected in a way that turns each one into a member of some crazy techno orchestra, the results of which can be seen after the break in an unbelievably fun rendition of a Christmas song you're bound to hear a dozen more times today. If that's not enough, you can also control it live, thanks to a webcam and a flash interface that accepts keyboard commands. LBi Creative Director James Théophane has the project chronicled if you want the full details, but more importantly, just make sure you experience the holiday choral after the break.

Sample shots and video emerge from Pentax’s K-7 DSLR
Posted on May 28, 2009 | No CommentsAs with Panasonic's Lumix DMC-GH1, a few lucky folks who have managed to spend a few moments with Pentax's new 14.6 megapixel K-7 have stopped to host up the results for us to drool over. Early stills are rather impressive, with images being sharp, crisp and generally delightful to stare at. As for video, it's tough to judge the real quality based on a YouTube rendition, but feel free to glean what you can just after the break. So, if you weren't sold already, are you now?

The iPhone will have a glowing Apple
Posted on May 28, 2009 | No CommentsArtist’s rendition Mea culpa. So I said the iPhone wouldn’t light up. It was too tacky. Who wants lights on an iPhone, right? Wrong. A tipster has seen the new matte iPhone and the bugger has a light-up Apple. That’s right: it lights the freak up. Who knew? What in the name of Soleil Moon-Frye is [...]
It's a well known fact of life that creativity flows better when the sun is down. The best essays are written the night before class, the best coding is done at 2 AM, and the best music is written when everyone else would rather sleep. VOX's series of headphone amps allow you to rock out without your neighbors calling the police.
You're setting up for a party tonight. You've got food, girls, more food, and even Mike Chilludos coming! But what about music? No problem, just plug your laptop into some RadioShack computer speakers and hit shuffle, right?! For those of you who don't want your party to be graced with a spontaneous rendition of "Yakety Sax", Algoriddim Software has released djay 3. This DJ program integrates with your iTunes library, and automatically adds transitions and other cool DJ things to your mix.
