Finemini720: New mini LCOS projector

Tokyo-based home electronics company Lancerlink [JP] has announced the Finemini720 today, a palm-sized LCOS projector. Sized at just 50×150×125mm, the device weighs 800g. It's equipped with a 25W LED, produces 55 lumens of brightness and produces 1,280×768 resolution images.

Sony bumps the Memory Stick PRO Duo capacity up to 32GB

Oh my, Sony. You have too many memory sticks. With that being said, the Memory Stick PRO Duo will soon be available in 32GB form. This is not to be confused with the recently announced 32GB Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. These are separate flash memory devices. The added space in the PRO Duo means that Sony Handycam owners can now shoot 225 minutes in Full HD mode. Plus, with this card, the new Cyber-Shot cams can now record 29 minute clips in 720p. I just wish that Sony wouldn't have so many different flash drive variations - or just adapt industry standards like SD.

Stolen Jewels are the creation of Mike and Maaike, who did a Google for low-resolution images of various famous, priceless pieces of jewelry -- such as a ruby and diamond necklace made by Van Cleef and Arpels for Imelda Marcos -- and then made them even lower-res before transferring them to leather. The result is what you see above: stunning, and arguably much, much preferable to their original, heavy counterparts.
