Samsung (Bada-Powered) Wave to Launch in North and South America?

Samsung may be a little crazy to create their own OS when Android is free, powerful, and popular, but that doesn't mean that I'm not at least a little curious about what the new OS may bring.
On that note, you may be interested to hear that the first of Samsung's Bada-powered phones -- the Samsung Wave 8500 -- may be making its way over from Europe to come visit your hometown*.

Samsung unleashes two Diva-branded phones, divas everywhere faint

The S5150 Olivia is a clamshell affair with a mirrored body, an external LED, and we know that it will boast a 3 megapixel camera and a 2.2-inch QVGA display. The other - the S7070 - is an iPhone-esque job, with a crazy diamond-shaped button at the bottom, and a quilted-style back cover, with a 3-inch WQVGA display with resistive touchscreen, Bluetooth, and microSD slot. Samsung hasn't formally announced these ladies yet, but they are expected in the first quarter of 2010. One more photo after the break.

Okay, seriously. Its gotta be intentional at this point. Samsung is a more than a dozen pre-MWC leaks deep, with everything from the lowest of lows to their higher-end stuff out on the table. Two more Samsung phones purported to be getting their announcements next week have now leaked. Neither are anything groundbreaking, but we'll cover'em for the sake of completion.

Jeez - at this point, saying something like "when it rains, it pours" would almost seem rude. The number of Samsung phones leaked prior to MWC has now leapt out of "countable on two hands" territory, with details of an 11th previously unheard of Samsung phone, the C6625, making their way onto the tubes.
