Sanyo’s new 2K projector boasts industry-high 10,000 lumens brightness
Posted on June 9, 2010 | No CommentsIf you thought the Sanyo 3D projector we've shown you a couple of days ago was impressive, think again: today the company announced [JP] the LP-HF1000L, a projector for "professional use" that not only boasts 2K (2,048×1,080) resolution but also produces 10,000 lumens brightness. According to Sanyo, no other projector in the industry can keep up with that number (via AC 100V, at least).

Sanyo releases $50,000 projector with 12,000 lumens brightness

Sanyo has rolled out a number of projectors in the past months, but brightness-wise, their new LP-XF1000 [press release in English] beats them all. The dual lamp projector boasts not less than 12,000 lumens, made possible by two 330W lamps. Needless to say, this is the industry’s highest brightness (in an AC 100V device).

Sanyo rolls out portable $10,000 projector with 6,000 lumens brightness

Because I have no idea why the company calls its new projector, the LP-XM150 announced today [press release in English], portable: The thing weighs 9.7kg. Last month, Sanyo presented a device that somehow deserved the name, as the LP-XU106 weighs just 4kg.

Sanyo Japan to launch two high-resolution / high-brightness projectors
Posted on June 17, 2009 | No Comments
Sanyo seems to now entirely focus on projectors targeted at professional customers and businesses. After announcing a $6,000 Wi-fi enabled projector last month, the company today said in Japan [JP] it's about to roll out two additional models with some great specs.
