Panasonic yesterday announced [JP] what it says is the world's lightest full HD camcorder, the HDC-TM35. Sized at 51.5×107.5×57.5mm and weighing just 185g, the device is mainly targeted at women and will be available in white, purple, grey, and "gold".

It has a 10.1-inch screen featuring 1,024×600 resolution and LED backlight, with Onkyo saying one of the two selling points is its thickness (the notebook is 22mm thin - 18mm at it thinnest part). It weighs just 1.16kg, too.

Technically speaking, the DSC-W530D isn't really a new device (it was unveiled earlier this year in Japan and is available for $200 in the US, too). But Sony changed the design to (possibly) make the Cyber-shot more appealing to female customers.

Panasonic in Japan has announced [JP] a new stereo system today, the D-Dock SC-HC40. The device is just 69mm thick at the thinnest part but integrates a speaker plus digital amplifier (20W×2ch(6Ω)), a CD player, an AM/FM tuner, an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, and a "sliding door" (Panasonic).

Sharp Japan’s cordless phone system features integrated photo frame

Back in August 2009, we covered a cordless phone offered by Sharp Japan that could be connected to a portable 7-inch touch panel via infrared. That panel could be used as a digital picture frame, for example. And yesterday, the same company announced [JP] the JD-4C1CW, which again links a cordless phone to a touch screen. This time, the display is part of the phone.

The newest addition to their spy equipment lineup is the LED Spy Light HD [JP], an LED flashlight that records video in HD. Needless to say, the device lets you shoot photos, too.

For some reason, Austrian luxury brand Swarovski loves cooperating with Japanese electronics makers. Now Sony has announced [JP] a total of six 7-inch digital photo frames for the Japanese market, two of which (the DPF-D75 (WZ) in white and the DPF-D75 (BQ) in black) were jointly designed with the Austrians.
