iTiki iPhone Case…Um, something is wrong with me, because I kinda want one?
Posted on April 6, 2010 | No CommentsAnytime the press release for a new product says something like this, I’m bound to pay attention: iTiki™ is a South Pacific deity from the north shore of Oahu, Hawaii, who protects iPhones from enemies. iTiki is more than just the original tiki-based iPhone case. It’s the silicone incarnation of the same spirit who, according to [...] -
Review: A10 Cyclone (NSFW)
Posted on February 13, 2010 | No CommentsSo once you become a reviewer of Tenga Jars it seems you become the go-to guy for folks trying to sell Tenga Jars. I feel like Malcom’s dad in Breaking Bad. You get into something for noble reasons and you end up killing a dude in the desert after blowing up his headquarters with fulminated [...] -
Hands-On: New OtterBox Palm Pre Case
Posted on January 8, 2010 | No Comments
The Palm Pre doesn't really have too many options for cases, but OtterBox is using that for their advantage. OtterBox today announced the new Tandem Series, which features a overmolded design, and also incorporates silicone into the polycarbonate shell for maximum protection.
The first shell attaches to the front of the smartphone and the second shell attaches to the back. Silicone then lines the outside edges of the case and combines with polycarbonate to offer more stability. Once the case is assembled, it allows for complete functionality, even when sliding the screen. I've noticed when playing around with the case that it makes it easier to slide the Pre up and down.

Japanese department store offers robots that look like their buyers
Posted on December 14, 2009 | No Comments
We all knew this day would come and we all knew this would happen first in Japan. And local department store chain operator Sogo & Seibu is ready to make it possible: You can soon buy robots who look exactly like you. Right, life-size humanoids.
The company isn't that sure about its idea though as it plans to offer just two robots for the time being. Sogo & Seibu says they'll start accepting orders in all of their department stores in Japan as soon as early next month. But if there are three or more people interested in getting a robotic doppelgänger, buyers will be chosen by lot.

BlackBerry Storm 2 accessories roll into Best Buy
Posted on October 11, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Handsets, RIM, Verizon Wireless, Accessories
Silicone skins for the Storm 2 are starting to find their way into shipments destined to Best Buy stores around the country, another solid signal that RIM's second touchscreen effort is hitting retail sooner rather than later. What we found amusing about this first batch is that the packaging seems conflicted about what to call the thing -- 9550, Storm II (as opposed to Storm2 or Storm 2, interestingly), and even the phone's codename Odin all make appearances front and center. We suppose they're just trying to make it crystal clear what phone the skin's intended for, and with leaks going back a solid year, you've got to cover all your bases.

The i-Toc: A very cool watch
Posted on September 28, 2009 | No Comments
The i-Toc is really what you would call a "mystery watch." It has two overlapping disks that are graduated from light to dark and the point of absolute black - or whatever color you've bought - marks the hour and minutes hand. Pretty sly, right?
Designed by CG reader Sean, the i-Toc is a mere $99 and comes in six colors including silver, blue, purple, red, and orange. It has a 41mm case and has a silicone strap with butterfly clasp. Heck, they even have a screen saver so you can add a pink i-Toc to your PC or Mac.
