This alleged snapshot of Windows Phone 7 Series running on the HTC HD2 has hit our inbox roughly a dozen times already, so I figured we'd go ahead and clear things up: No, it is not real.

Project Honeypot has announced that they've collected one billion spam messages since they started in 2004. They have a pretty remarkable rundown of the trends for spammers in the last couple of years, including a look at the volume of product spam (V1AGRA, etc) versus fraud spam (419, etc). The majority of spam is still largely fire-and-forget, and only a relatively small percentage of spam is targeted at the recipient.

T-Mobile is now offering unlimited voice for little enough cash through its Even More promo these days that it's officially bidding myFaves adieu, spelling out the final chapter of one of the better-known plan packages in the US wireless biz. It won't go away completely -- the myFaves app will apparently continue to be offered as a convenient, cutesy way to access five frequent contacts and existing subscribers won't be kicked off their plans -- but for new subscribers, Even More is being billed as the spiritual successor. Nerd Jokes: Someone spelled ‘Pittsburgh’ wrong in Morse Code, ROFL!

The Grant Building in downtown Pittsburgh has been spelling out the city's name in Morse Code via a flashing red light on the top of the structure since 1929. Except that a local grad student recently decoded the message to spell out "PITETSBKRRH" instead.
