    T-minus one month and counting till the release of StarCraft II, and we're starting to see officially branded peripherals hit the store shelves. Here's one such peripheral: the SteelSeries StarCraft II Limited Edition Zboard. As the name suggests, it's based on the company's Z Board, except, you know, StarCraft-ified.

    SteelSeries announced at E3 today three new peripherals for the XBox 360: the Spectrum 5xb premium headset, the Spectrum 4xb entry-level headset, and the Spectrum AudioMixer which "allows any headset with a microphone and 3.5mm jacks to function with Xbox 360 gameplay and Xbox LIVE chat". The Spectrum AudioMixer is included in the box with both the 5xb and 4xb headsets.

The point is—there is a point, as hard as that may be to believe—that SteelSeries and Jinx would like to help you make the best of what may be a very awkward day for many of you, or us, as it were—as it is.     Gamers have it made nowadays. In the old days, they would have to deal with computer peripherals that were meant for an office environment and not tailored to meet their gaming needs. But that's changed. Now even Alienware has a line of gaming accessories. Previously, Alienware showed off the OptX LCD monitor and TactX Headset, but apparently there is a TactX keyboard and TactX mouse coming soon.
