Sprint HTC EVO 4G gets its first OTA update, fixes microSD issues

Surprise! Sprint's not going to let any silly microSD card bugs taint the day of their big EVO 4G launch. Just hours after Sprint shops around the country started pushing EVO 4Gs to hungry customers, the carrier has issued its first OTA update for this device.

Posted on October 19, 2009 | No CommentsLooks like EA finally understands what we've been talking about for a while now: that, in just a few year's time, we'll look back at disc-based media (here, video games) and be all, “Man, how quaint.” Peter Moore, who's the president of EA Sports (no minor position, that), called the disc-based distribution model a “burning platform,” and that companies are either staring in the face of “probable” death or “certain” death, depending on how they want to go about things.

Microsoft confirms Xbox 360 Arcade models shipping with 512MB of memory

Just a quick update on the story we posted yesterday about an Xbox 360 Arcade model with 512MB of built-in memory; it’s true! Microsoft confirmed with Eurogamer a wee bit ago. Hit the jump for the official blurb from MS.
