Lenovo's latest IdeaCentre PCs aren't lacking, well, anything. They bring the latest power and hardware to the all-in-one form factor. Seriously, a person could buy a model from either the A or B Series and feel confident that the systems will be able to handle nearly any task -- gaming included.

This is either the Nintendo 3DS or an over-the-top mock-up
Posted on April 6, 2010 | No CommentsWe’re not sure what to make of this thing. On one hand the design is clearly out of the box in a way Nintendo tends to think, but the twisting and turning seems just a tad too far from the norm to be real. But the Japanese site says it’s the real deal so it [...] -
Infinity Ward defending the cost of MW2’s DLC
Posted on March 25, 2010 | No Comments
To say we were a tad flabbergasted that Modern Warfare 2's 5 map pack DLC costs $15 is about right. We weren't exactly outraged. It's just a video game after all and really doesn't matter that much. But $15 is a bit much for five maps with two of the recycled from previous Call of Duty games. Infinity Ward's Creative Strategist Rob Bowling disagrees. He calls it an investment. Well, Creative Strategist is just code for Public Relations so he kind of has to say that.

Stocking Stuffer: PowerGenix NiZn rechargeable batteries
Posted on December 10, 2009 | No Comments
There’s a fine line between giving regular batteries as a gift and giving rechargeable batteries as a gift. Giving someone regular batteries is a dumb gift. Might as well give them a sheet cake. Either way, the gift is a consumable and doesn’t last long. Rechargeable batteries, on the other hand, last quite a bit longer.

Get your Nintendo DSi XL (actually, it’s an LL) game on now
Posted on December 9, 2009 | No CommentsNintendo isn’t bringing the larger screen DSi to the States until next year, but you can get one now as long as you’re willing to pay a bit extra. But of course you would be the coolest kid on your bus so it’s totally worth it. Play-Asia has the the Asian market DSi LL ready for [...] -
Android 2.1-equipped Motorola Sholes tablet spied in China as XT701?
Posted on December 3, 2009 | No CommentsNo sooner do we get brief corner glimpses of the supposed Motorola Sholes tablet do we get tipped off to this writeup from Androidin.net which has a number of pictures of an eerily similar keyboard-less handset with a 3.7-inch screen, Android 2.1, FM radio, and interestingly enough, only a 5 megapixel camera -- last we heard it was going to be 8. Also debatable is a HDMI port, since the image that would show it is a tad too blurry. Otherwise, it seems to be about in line with what we expected, and it also seems destined for China Unicom as the XT701 (analogous to China Mobile's Motorola Android device). Now how about a few dashes of hope we'll see this stateside, eh Moto? Two more shots after the break.
[Thanks, yee]Continue reading Android 2.1-equipped Motorola Sholes tablet spied in China as XT701?

Dell Mini 3i unboxed in China, capacitive stylus included
Posted on November 13, 2009 | No CommentsFiled under: Handsets, Others, China Mobile, Android
One lucky Chinese blogger was kind enough to share his Dell Mini 3i unboxing experience beyond the Great Firewall, just a tad before Dell officially announced their first-ever smartphone. What's interesting is that the China Mobile version comes with a special stylus for the capacitive touchscreen -- a very handy tool for writing Chinese -- but there's been no mention of this accessory for the Brazilian 3iX. Dell's also bundled a 3.5mm adapter for the mini-USB port in case their handsfree isn't good enough for your audiophilic ears. Yeah, too bad about the missing headphone jack, but don't let this deter you from checking out the Mini 3i's full glory after the break.Continue reading Dell Mini 3i unboxed in China, capacitive stylus included

TiVo’s On Demand section down for Blockbuster On Demand update
Posted on October 13, 2009 | No Comments
Don't look now, but your Series 2, 3, or HD TiVo is probably getting the Blockbuster On Demand update right now. Actually, go look now because while I couldn't get a picture to show this accurately, the screen above looks slightly different than other TiVo screens. It's tad higher resolution and there is just something different about it. Maybe a TiVo GUI refresh is just around the corner...

Hands-on: 1TB Seagate FreeAgent Go Portable Drive
Posted on October 12, 2009 | No CommentsThe Seagate FreeAgent Go is a 1TB, USB-powered hard drive that works. What more do you wanna know? I just got the 1TB FreeAgent Go Portable Drive from Seagate and I’m impressed. First off, it’s not that large. I mean, it’s sort-of bulky compared to Seagate’s smaller FreeAgent Go drives, but it’s manageable. The drive is [...] -
A new Nikon is coming but we don’t know what it is
Posted on October 2, 2009 | No Comments
This Nikon rumor is about as vague as it gets. All it states is that within the next weeks, there will be a new Nikon camera announced and it's not the D700x/D700s. It also states that the model will be something entirely new for Nikon and not a replacement. Nikon Rumors is thinking that this camera *might* be something like the new Leica X1, which seems plausible.
Most agree that the original TomTom iPhone app is a tad overpriced at $99 for just the app. That doesn't include the
