CrunchDeals: Prototype for cheap (Xbox 360, PS3, PC)
Posted on July 9, 2009 | No CommentsI’ve heard good things about Activision’s Prototype, but was never sent a review copy even though I’ve received other titles from the publisher for review in the past. Currently reviewing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (preview here) for the Xbox 360. Not a bad game, but I have some gripes with it. Anyway, Prototype is the [...] -
What will you do if piracy as we know it goes away? (I’ll just read more)
Posted on July 2, 2009 | No CommentsLet's say you're not about to pay $30 for the Blu-ray edition of Blade Runner or Transformers, especially after you've already seen the film a dozen or more times on regular DVD. But now that The Pirate Bay, as far as I'm concerned, long gone, what are you gonna do? Will its “reboot” cause you to change your pirating ways, or will you merely move on to the next service and/or Web site?

Video Trailer: Mac vs PC 2
Posted on July 2, 2009 | No CommentsRemember the first Mac vs PC short film? You know, the one where the Mac and PC transformers into little robots and fight? Well, the sequel is coming and just like another film, it looks to be loaded with even more action and a weak storyline. But also like that other movie, we’ll probably watch [...] -
Video: Transformers 2 in one minute
Posted on June 30, 2009 | No CommentsDon’t want to waste $37 to see Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen at the movie theater? Most critics wouldn’t blame you although a lot of fans are enjoying the summer flick. But anyway, watch the video above and save yourself some cash. It tells the same story and has a proportionate amount of explosions. -
Video: Parkour With Robots
Posted on June 30, 2009 | No CommentsThis (fake) Nike ad is all kinds of awesome, but the thing that strikes me is that even parkour-busting robots wear hoodies, which appear to be the free-runner’s uniform. This, ironically, means that they can’t enter the malls which are the home of Nike stores, or not in the UK at least: Some years ago [...] -
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on track to be worst-rated $400m movie ever
Posted on June 29, 2009 | No CommentsCrunchGear, at the movies! Peter's been talking pretty much non-stop about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for the past few days, and it brings me great joy to say that, despite the horrendous reviews—this is the dumbest thing I've ever read—it's well on its way to becoming the worst reviewed $400 million movie ever. The movie has been in theaters for five days now and it's already halfway to the $400 million mark.

Poll: Are you going to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen?

I haven’t seen any of the trailers either, but I’ll probably go and see it whether it sucks or not. What about you? Are you going to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen? Yes No I've already seen it It wasn't that good View Results -
Kodak wishes to reunite Megan Fox and the boy with the yellow rose
Posted on June 24, 2009 | No Comments
I’d imagine by now you’ve seen this picture of Megan Fox snubbing this poor little portly boy at the London premiere of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. If you haven’t then you need to get out from under the rock or watch The Soup or something.

Activision ships Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for every platform known to man
Posted on June 23, 2009 | No CommentsIt’s almost Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (aka Megan Fox on an IMAX screen) time! Sadly, I missed the preview they held last night in NYC, which I’m extremely heartbroken over, but I’ll pay to see the movie regardless. Anyway, Activision is now shipping the game companion and I’m pretty excited to play it after [...]
