Belkin seems to understand normal people, releases aptly named wireless routers
Posted on March 24, 2010 | No Comments
Consumers are dumb. Don't deny it. We are. Belkin apparently relized that and instead of opting for the standard router naming scheme which would be something like 802.11 WiFi MAX with Double Speed Pipe Router, the company took a simpler approach. Nice and easy, although my mother-in-law would probably still call me up while she's standing in front of them to ask which one she should buy even though she doesn't game nor have another computer to share items. Digressing...

Not 3D but pretty, too: Sony’s seven new LCD TVs
Posted on March 9, 2010 | No CommentsGranted, the seven new LCD (non-3D) TVs Sony announced [JP] in Japan today are not as sexy as their 3D counterparts, but they are worth mentioning, too. The new BRAVIAs break down into three series, the NX800, the HX700 and the HDD-equipped BX-30H. In contrast to the 3D TVs presented today, Sony didn't go into details regarding international sales plans for their 2D models.

Posted on March 1, 2010 | No Comments
Today's TVs, Blu-ray players, game consoles, and even AV receivers crave access to the Internet, but most will never get the pleasure of the 'Net. Why? Because Mom and Pop don't wanna run a CAT-5 cable through their house and power line adapters are about as reliable as two tin cans connected with string. But now there's this: Netgear's Universal Wi-Fi adapter.

Sony Japan today
And you thought the steampunk movement died years ago. Nope, it's still alive and well in some circles on the World Wide Web and this stunning computer mouse proves it has a right to live. Look at it. Everything from the mouse buttons, to the braided cord, to the USB port gets me going. Too bad it will likely be plugged into a Dell laptop or something just as mundane.
