TRON controllers will be available for purchase

Rejoice user! Devin won't be keeling over from auto-erotic asphyxiation after all. The TRON controllers that he saw at E3 and threatened to hold his breath over? Well, they are going to be for sale. To be honest, I haven't considered replacing my stock Xbox 360 controllers until this point, but now I'm afraid I have no choice.

Click through for what we can only assume are the 11 major control movements for the upcoming Zelda title.

The Playstation Move is a Wii clone – but it’s awesome

The Playstation Move is just what it looks like: a Wii clone. It feels the same, looks the same, and works the same. That’s a good thing, though. Everyone and their grandmother has played Wii bowling and knows how it works. Sony isn’t reinventing motion control with the Move. They are, however, seriously improving it. A [...]

E3 2010: Hands-on with the surprisingly good AAA: Heroés del Ring

Rather than use E3 to pile on the mountains and mountains of hype of the big-bidget titles, I've elected to sprinkle through our coverage the small little gems that might otherwise go unnoticed. First on the docket is AAA: Héores del Ring a lucha libre (Mexican-style higly-flying pro-wrestling) game that'll hit your Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and PSP on August 10 of this year. I had some quality time with it this morning and I can say this: I left the booth absolutely shocked at how thorough the game is.

The top five unanswered questions about the Nintendo 3DS

The Nintendo 3DS is real -- we know that. The 3D works well -- we know that, too. But that's where our 3DS knowledge stops. Nintendo isn't talking-up 3DS details right now and we have so many questions about the handheld 3D gaming.

The Playstation Move vs the Xbox Kinect, may the best motion controller win

It's official on. That is the motion control wars and, don't hate, but Nintendo isn't one of the combatants. Nope, this war is clearly between Microsoft and Sony. It's the Kinect vs the Move. Full body tracking vs 1-1 controller tracking. This is going to turn out great for you, me, and both Sony and Microsoft.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword announced along with vastly improved Wii interaction

Here we go: another E3, another Zelda. The latest in the Zelda canon is Skyward Sword, a MotionPlus compatible game that mimics the experience of holding a sword and a shield. Link's on-screen actions mimic your actions completely including the motion of a shield in front of you. Basically this is a more precise version of the previous Zelda Wii interface. With so many people trying so many motion controls, however, I wonder how exciting this will be in context.

On the Xbox 360 Kinect experiment and the future of motion controls

Microsoft has been busy over the last year. It was during E3 2009 that Microsoft blew everyone away with what was then dubbed Project Natal. It promised to bring full body motion control to the 360. We’re getting our first real look at the system at E3 today after last night’s theatrical reveal and, well, [...]

FIFA Soccer 11, Pro Evolution Soccer 11 first details

Both EA and Konami have revealed details regarding the next FIFA, called FIFA Soccer 10 in the U.S., and Pro Evolution Soccer, called Pro Evolution Soccer 11, games, respectively. The first detail: they exist. There was approximately a zero percent chance that EA and Konami wouldn't continue with the franchises, but you and I know that big corporations make terrible decisions all the time. EA's big new feature is called Personality+, and it aims to make each player in the game as much like the player in real life. That is, Messi should be able to waltz pass defenders in-game as he does for Barcelona week in, week out, while Michael Carrick should be able to complete one pass in 50 as he does for Manchester United. (Exaggerated for effect. folks, so calm down.)

So this is kinda cool. At the ReMix Australia event today, some dude used a Wii remote as an accelerometer for an app running on the Windows Phone 7 emulator. There aren't many details available beyond that. It seems that WM Experts found out about it by watching a Twitter hashtag, so it's anyone's guess, really.
