With the release of Rock Band 3, there's the inevitable flood of third party peripherals (many better quality then the ones that come with the game). Mad Catz announced their latest line of products, including a wireless keyboard, a Fender Mustang Pro controller, and a MIDI adapter that'll let a musician use their real keyboard to play the Rock Band 3 game.

NEC to ship Blu-ray powered 3D PC in Japan next month
Posted on May 27, 2010 | 1 CommentValuestar N VN790/BS - that's the name of the 3D PC that NEC today announced [JP] for the Japanese market. The company's faster than expected: just last month, NEC teased such a machine in Tokyo, saying it's likely to ship by October 2010. But Japan will get the PC as early as next month. And it appears to be a pretty cool machine.

The Lenovo Q nettop series gets a makeover, should look at home under your HDTV
Posted on May 10, 2010 | No Comments
Lenovo's previous nettop entry was just your standard Mac Mini-clone, encased in a drab black box. But the just-announced Q150 shouldn't have any issues standing out from the crowd. Forget about the sleek exterior, it's the included bitch'n Lenovo wireless keyboard/mouse that will please the masses [of nerds].

Fun fact: I'm typing this post on the black Microsoft Arc keyboard! I just bought the black version from Best Buy and like it good enough. But maybe black isn't your thing. Or you gave up shopping at Best Buy which was previously the Arc keyboard's exclusive retailer. Well then, I have good news, friends. Amazon will soon offer the Arc keyboard in a white and lime.

Rechargeable wireless keyboard knockoff takes cues from Logitech’s diNovo Edge
Posted on March 1, 2010 | No Comments
If the $180 price tag of Logitech’s diNovo Edge wireless keyboard is a bit too high to stomach, Brando will sell you an $86 knockoff. It’s called the “Rapoo 2900,” which has to be one of the worst product names in the history of consumer electronics.

Review: HP TouchSmart 600
Posted on February 19, 2010 | No CommentsShort version: HP’s TouchSmart 600 isn’t the perfect solution for a touchscreen based home computer, but it comes pretty damn close. The TouchSmart system works well as an internet home appliance, but the thing that makes it special is also where it starts to show some problems. Features: 23-inch touchscreen Blu-ray playback Multiple inputs for video devices Wireless keyboard, mouse, [...] -

5 Things The iPhone Could Learn From The iPad
Posted on January 28, 2010 | No CommentsAs is to be expected of any device that the masses get excited about prior to it actually existing, the iPad has torn the Internet in two. Some love it, seeing it as the first iteration of an eventually world-changing device; others just don’t see a point. “It’s just a big iPhone,” they say, “and [...] -
Jason Calacanis (absolutely does not) spoil Apple tablet event, drops no major details (update: not)
Posted on January 27, 2010 | No Comments
Jason Calacanis isn't a a nobody. He's a serial web entrepreneur, founder of Weblogs, Inc., co-founder of TechCrunch50 and CEO of search engine Mahalo (amongst others). And just a few minutes ago, via his Twitter account, he (possibly) dropped some major hints on the Apple tablet that's going to be presented tomorrow. Calacanis claims he has been given a tablet by Apple ten days ago, adding "For background: apple asked me to do press tomorrow on cnbc, cnn, etc.".
If he isn't pulling a major PR stunt (I think he isn't), Calacanis is stoked. Here's the gist of what he says about the device. I know many of you are sick of hearing about it, and this may turn out to be totally false info tomorrow - but what he said seemed just too interesting.
Editor's Note - Serkan has been beaten. There is nothing to see here.
