Yeah, well, now word on the street is that, forget everything you read last night, because there's no way in hell the Palm Pre won't be available for Verizon Wireless. Or, to remove the double-negative: yes, the Palm Pre will, indeed, be available on Verizon Wireless, most likely this winter. Calm yourselves.

Microsoft is entering the streaming music market. Hooray.
Posted on July 13, 2009 | No Comments
The Telegraph has word that Microsoft will be entering the streaming music market. The plan is to offer free streaming, and the option to purchase music for download. Hybrid storage controversy: Did Microsoft just ban the sale of the MSI Wind U115?
Posted on June 7, 2009 | No CommentsOh man, not two minutes after a positive Microsoft story (which was, in fairness, preceded by a negative one) there's this. Word on the street is that Microsoft is seeking to prevent the sale of the MSI Wind U115. Why's that? Apparently Microsoft has no time for a netbook—“a race to the bottom,” claims CrunchGear's John Biggs—running Windows XP Home that has a so-called hybrid storage system.
