Yup, that’s a Louis Vutton iPad case
Posted on April 28, 2010 | No Comments
I'm not sure what this says about the iPad or Louis Vuitton. On one hand it speaks volumes about the iPad's culturally significance that just weeks after its launch, trendy leather goods maker Louis Vuitton feels confident about the device to announces cases. But then what does it say about Louis Vuitton who is clearly willing to jump on bandwagons right away. Then again, what the hell do I know about Louis Vuitton or trendy culture?

Nintendo 3DS: Look who just innovated itself out of a paper bag!
Posted on March 23, 2010 | No CommentsThe beauty of the Internet is that it demands instant analysis of every single development to come out of Peoria. The Nintendo 3DS—out of Kyoto, which is not Peoria, I'm afraid—was announced overnight, time zone permitting. It will debut at E3 in June, and it will forever change the way you and I... do something. Something video game-related, methinks.

Well, well. It turns out the rumor was correct. Walmart is in fact giving away a $100 gift card with the purchase of the $199 Xbox 360 this Saturday. I don't think you need help figuring out that this deal effectively drops the price down to $99. But if you need help spending your gift card, hit me up. I'll help with that.

Yup, that’s a $600 Bose iPod dock you’re looking at
Posted on September 15, 2009 | No CommentsBose had some sort of official unveiling in New York earlier today, but I didn't want to leave Matt and Doug manning the site all by themselves, so I didn't attend. This is what I missed: the Bose SoundDock 10, a $599 (?!) iPhone/iPod dock that weighs some 19 pounds. It's rather big, yes.

Here it is, AV geeks: an RGBY LED panel. Yup, that means there is now a yellow pixel involved which is sure to improve, well, videos of sunflowers and Big Bird. Actually it increases the visible colors from the billions to the trillions. That's big and this announce could very well be the most important HDTV news of CES 2010. Seriously. 3D is a fade, this big. Click through for a gallery of hands-on pics and pricing.
