My initial, knee jerk reaction to the God of War III trailer was, “God of War III was fun when it was called God of War, in 2005.”
But then I read GameDaily’s preview, which tempered my, well, not anger, but it tempered something.

To use stupid Internet jargon, the mere mention of Shadow of the Colossus is an instant win. (The preview goes on to detail how Sony has managed to take Shadow of the Colossus’ sense of scale and apply it to the senseless violence of Kratos’ world. Fun!)
