Ha! This here video, which must have taken some time to put together (I have a new respect for video editing post-Comic Con), shows what Halo would look like if it were a traditional JRPG à la Final Fantasy. It’s also 5+ minutes long, which might as well be four hours long in Internet Time, so don’t feel bad if you tap out after one or two minutes.

What I can’t tell is where or not the creator is trying to make fun of JRPGs—I understand they’re not everyone’s cup of tea—or the absurdity of a bunch of roided up space marines Fighting For Us™. They’re both clichés that play to their respective fanbases.

Don’t hate, educate.
